Age requirement: 50 years+

All excursions are planned for active, independent adults with a knack for travel. All excursion locations/venues are planned for adults with high activity levels with the ability to provide self-care and awareness of locale throughout the community excursion.

• Detailed itinerary
• Payment due 10 days prior to excursion including additional excursion fees, if applicable.
• Program Manager will guide the group throughout the course of the excursion

Friendly faces with a knack for travel

You must pay for the community excursion of your choice in full to receive the itinerary for your selected excursion or destination. We can either email or mail it to you based on your preference. Please provide this information at registration.

Yes, you can have a caregiver accompany you to assist with any self-care needs as needed on the community excursions. Love Thy Elders Staff does not provide one-on-one self-care assistance. Caregivers are responsible for accompanying you throughout the entire excursion. The participant is responsible for full payment of all caregiver excursion fees. 

 Community Excursions

You must cancel any excursion at least 10 days prior to the due date to receive any refunds. Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Cancellation of any excursion does not guarantee a full refund, if any.

If Love Thy Elders cancels your excursion due to unforeseen  circumstances you are entitled to a full refund and/or credit towards other excursions of interest.

Limited scholarships are offered, kept confidential, and determined on a case-by-case basis. You may be eligible if you receive public assistance benefits.
